Mallika is paired with Jackie Chan in his next flick. So how was it working with the ultimate action star?
"It was a great experience. He was very friendly. And the best part is that he found me really hot," says Mallika. "I am very happy that the crew came to Mumbai and selected me," she adds.
But why you?
"Because I am the best," is her immediate rejoinder. Modesty sure is a lost cause with the lady!
We have seen Mallika in bold roles in the two earlier flicks -- Khwahish and Murder.
"That's true. But now I am experimenting. My next movie, for instance, is an out and out comedy," she says.
What does she look at while signing a film?
"The script and the importance of my role," she reveals.
What was it like working with fellow Jat, Dharmendra?
"We struck instant chemistry. He was happy to note that I have also come from his part of the country. He is the sexiest MP we have," grins Mallika.
So what is the best part of stardom?
"I can just pick up the phone and make an actor talk to my mother. It feels great," she says.
What is the funniest part about her?
"I am not sure I should be telling you this but I have a funny Jat side that makes me do silly things at times," she says.
What is her take on Pune?
"It rocks. I love coming here,".
