Kangana Ranaut's style quotient in 'Fashion'
Kangana Ranaut dons very stylish clothes and hairdos in this week's release 'Fashion'. The movie had Kangana
involved personally in giving shape to the look of her character of a supermodel who eventually falls from fame.
Though the production house UTV had roped in two designers Narendra Kumar and Rita Dhody Kangana suggested
having her personal designer Rick Roy on board for the project.
Rick and Rita reportedly worked together to design Kangana's different looks in the film. At the beginning of the story,
Kangana is a supermodel. Since Kangana is thin and tall, she was given short dresses with low neck lines. "We also
used Kangana's hair in an exotic manner. We cut it short but kept her mop of curls to make her look more vulnerable
when she loses it all. During that phase, she is also shown sporting long t shirts that would make audiences feel sorry
for her," Rita is quoted to have said.
Kangana herself worked very hard to slip into the skin of her character. She learnt to walk the ramp with utmost
confidence and this shows in the film too. It is being speculated that Kangana's character is based on the riches to
rags journey of model Gitanjali Nagpal who was found begging on the roads. |
