Shaurya keen to star opposite Nana
Shaurya Chauhaan, who is all set to make her debut with Rakesh Sarang's 'Horn Ok
Pleassss', has been an ardent fan of Nana Patekar. Nonetheless, the actress,
before starting to shoot for her debut venture, had heard a lot of stories about
Nana and none too complimentary.
Hence, Shaurya was scared witless on the first day of her shoot with Nana. "His
Welcome had just released and everybody would look up to him. I had heard that he
was a very short tempered and temperamental person that he shouts at smallest of
issues. I was literally shivering while sitting and waiting for my call in my
vanity van. I did not know how to behave in front of him, or what to say to him.
By the time I reached the spot in the mall where the shoot was held, I was
literally a bundle of nerves," reveals Shaurya.
However, the actress says that when Nana looked at her and smiled, a lot of her
fears were put to rest. "Nana was busy giving his own shots, but he suddenly
realised how nervous and jittery I was. He then smiled at me and started
encouraging me when I was giving my shot. In the end, he even said in Marathi,
"Changli mulgi ahe" (She's a nice girl). I realised that all the talk about his
hot headedness was just humbug. He is basically a very nice person," gushes
Shaurya. |
